VB100 Award

Leading global information security solutions provider, eScan recently bagged the August 2011 VB100 False Positive Award from UK based Virus Bulletin magazine. The VB100 award is awarded to a anti-virus products which are tested for heuristic and generic detection technology and also whether it meets the basic requirements, both on demand and on access, in its default settings, all malware known to be ‘In the Wild’ at the time of the review, and generates no false positives when scanning a set of clean files.
